We have choosen the Phoenix to represent our new nation. It symbolizes how we were reborn from an old country, to rise up and create a new and better country. It also represents Power, peace, strentgh, willpower, intelligence and hard work.
Motto:

I love the idea for a phoenix as your animal to represent being reborn, that was a really good idea. Your motto is really good too, it seems like it means that you are going to work really hard on your nation and dedicate your lives to the people which is probably a very good thing, you might want to put your own explanation for it there so people don't interpret it wrong, sorry if I did. It looks great though.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first read the motto, I thought it meant that dedicating one's life for the good of others is a worthwhile endeavor. (this sounds a lot like the way Xena interpreted it). You guys should definitely let us know if we've got it right or not.
ReplyDeleteThe Phoenix is a cool symbol (not a real animal, but a mythological beast). Do you remember the idea of the Phoenix in Fahrenheit 451, anyone?? The idea of rebirth definitely suits the purpose here!
Yes, you are both correct it reprensents our nation as something knew and stronger.......A nation that has potentail through odds that are against it to succeed in everything.....
